Who I am
Welcome! I’m so happy you’re here.
I was born in beautiful Barcelona, and ever since I was little, I’ve been endlessly curious about life’s big questions — who we are, why we do what we do, and how we connect with each other. That curiosity led me to study Philosophy at university (yes, I loved debating those deep questions!). Later, I went on to do a Master’s degree to become a teacher, and I couldn’t resist studying Humanities as well — with a special focus on History, because I’ve always loved exploring the past and the stories that shaped our world.
In Barcelona, I taught Spanish and Catalan to adults, helping learners of all backgrounds feel more confident in their communication skills. After a few years, I also worked in marketing — an experience that taught me a lot about communication, creativity, and connecting with people. Those skills have been incredibly useful in my teaching.
In 2017, I moved to England to start a new chapter. Since then, I’ve been sharing my passion for languages as a Spanish language instructor and personal tutor. Over the years, I’ve taught in secondary schools, language programs, one-to-one lessons — and even at the university — always with the same goal: to make learning practical, enjoyable, and meaningful.
My teaching style is very communicative. I focus on real interaction so that students don’t just study Spanish — they live it! Through conversations, fun activities, and cultural insights, I create a friendly and supportive space where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself and making progress at your own pace.
I also love sharing Spanish culture — from cooking and tourism to little everyday traditions — so you can connect with the language on a deeper, more personal level.
When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me reading, travelling, watching a film, cooking, running, or practicing Pilates. I’m passionate about languages — I speak Spanish, French, Catalan, and English fluently — and I love spending time with my family whenever I can.
For me, teaching Spanish isn’t just about grammar and vocabulary. It’s about opening doors to new connections, opportunities, and ways of seeing the world. I’d love to share that journey with you!
